JOHN Collins has lived and taught in Ghana for decades, and certainly one of us and more in many regards. His knowledge of this important genre, Highlife, crafted in west Africa, with roots in the colonies, can best be described as ‘INNO-NATIVE(tm). Its origins may be debated, but its influence is not in question, as the greatest cultural export of our times, that also drives the within.

John Collins’ new book will be discussed, sold and signed, live on SANEGBAA radio show, and GNTV.

This show is all HI-LIFE, with guitarist Seyram, Nii Buxton and ASESEGUA BAND playing hits past and present, during and after the show.

We will also officially launch our after-school program of Reading and Homework Club and Flute lessons Music program at Jamestown Cafe.
